Purchased a ring from this store on Saturday, my hands were warm so the ring felt the right size, when I returned home and once my hands were cold I tried the ring on again, but now the ring felt very slightly too big, literally had the ring on less than half an hour the entire time I owned it to see how it felt, called the store and asked them to order the next size down, came into store today and spoke with the assistant manager Ashley only to be told by her that because I wore it she wouldn’t exchange it. I explained I’d had it on less than half an hour to see how it felt, she literally didn’t care, she then said it was scratched, there wasn’t a mark on it, and even if there had been it was there when I purchased it, she wouldn’t listen and was the most rude and unprofessional person I have spoken too, she told me to get the exchange I had to pay £50 to get the return one polished, again there wasn’t absolutely nothing wrong with it. This person is obviously in the wrong job, no customer service or empathy and obviously falsified the the condition of the ring to make Ernest jones £50 for nothing, well done for ripping off customers.if your thinking of buying jewellery seriously go elsewhere where.they did something similar with a Hugo boss watch i bought, the strap had frayed after 3 months and refused to help completely   30-01-25
